A friend is a person who says nice things behind your back.
God’s mirror reveals but never cleanses.
If Christ is kept outside, something must be wrong inside.
Content makes poor men rich; discontent makes rich men poor.
He who prepares well for this life and takes no thought of eternity, is wise for a moment but a fool forever.
If we can’t do something to lighten the burden of our fellow man, let’s determine in our heart that we won’t make his load any heavier.

Mother’s Day/Memorial Day
Mother’s Day
Proverbs 31:25-31 –
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
26 She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. 27 She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. 28 Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 29 “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. 31 Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
Psalm 116:15 –
“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.”
2 Timothy 4:7 –
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
Psalm 144:1 –
