Count the Cost

• This new life in Jesus comes at a great cost. 

2 Corinthians 5:17 “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

Mark 4:35-41

1. Any act of obedience to God requires faith in God.
2. Fierce storms will test our faith in God. 
3. As we mature in faith, we will question God. 

Questions to consider: 

What storms are you currently facing? 

Have you assumed that Jesus is distant or silent? 

Are you willing to count the cost following Jesus, even when it leads into hard places?
