Jesus: The Light to OUR Darkness

Jesus: The Light to OUR Darkness

Romans 1:18-25; 28-32

  • God makes Himself known to all.

  • Sin makes God angry.

Greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, sexual immorality, malicious behavior, gossip, backstabbing, hating God, rude, arrogant, proud, boastful, disobedient to parents, refusing to understand God, breaking your promises, heartless, no mercy.

  • Sin suppresses Truth and keeps us confused.

Questions to consider:

  1. Romans 1 describes the heart growing dark and futile in thinking.
How does Jesus reverse that process in a believer's life?
  2. How do we shine the light of Christ in a culture that seems to embrace darkness?
What does that look like practically—in your workplace, school, or relationships?
  3. Think of someone you know who might be living in spiritual darkness.
How can you be a light to them without judging or condemning?
  4. Where in your life today do you need Jesus to shine His light?
What would it look like to invite Him into that area fully?
